State Law Enforcement
Accreditation Programs

Many associations of Chiefs of Police and/or Sheriffs departments have established law enforcement accreditation programs that are unique and exclusive to the state that they serve in.

This map indicates which states have active accreditation programs, which are in the process of developing a program, and which states do not currently have their own accreditation program.  CALEA is a national accreditation program that is available to all agencies throughout the United States.  States that utilize CALEA exclusively are also grey as they do not have their own program.

For the purposes of this map, only the states programs are linked to their individual location pins.
